Our collective efforts and timely adoption of new and emerging technologies have helped us reduce environmental impact and resulted in a sharp decline in our water and electricity consumption over the past ten years.
 

Jason Sams, General Manager- Construction, recently emphasized the importance of aligning operational decision-making with sustainability goals during his talk at the MEED and Autodesk event, Design, Build and Operate Sustainable Developments. His insights highlight how integrating sustainability into operational strategies not only supports environmental objectives but also drives long-term efficiency and profitability.
 
We have introduced prefabricated site offices, used battery-powered generators, and implemented solar power for onsite electricity. Additionally, we have centralized staff accommodation to decrease vehicle movements and refurbished our labour accommodations with energy-efficient equipment.

Our dedication to reducing environmental impact is evident in our significant achievements: between 2015 and 2022, we reduced our annual water consumption by 180 million liters and cut electricity usage by 11 million kWh.
